We have tried to present you with as much information as possible to show you how we can help you achieve your fitness goals.Below are a list of questions with answers to hopefully explain anything that you maybe unsure about.

Why Small Group Personal Training?

Small-Group PT offers the best of both worlds. You get the individualised coaching, expertise and guidance associated with personal training and you also get the social support, energy and camaraderie that’s found in group training.

So while it’s still personalised, you get to train with people you can relate to and who will help support and encourage you on your journey.

How do you group people in the sessions?

Simple – you simply choose the training time that best fits your life, and you can expect up to 3 other people to be there alongside you in your session. Because we individualise our coaching to your level, the sessions work well with participants who have different goals and training experience.

What sort of exercises will I be doing?

Our cutting-edge programmes blend flexibility, strength-training and high-intensity training with exercises that are tailored to your level by our professional coaches.  We also provide opportunities to challenge yourself every 13 weeks with our testing Week which looks at our specifically designed strength and cardio tests so that you know for sure your program is working.

Do I need to be fit to do small group personal training?

No.  Our members vary in age and fitness level.  Yes, you’ll see some super-fit people here, but they all started somewhere.  We work with lots of beginners and many people who feel anxious about stepping into a gym.

We’ll assess your current level, personalise your programme and take it at a pace that works for you within the small group personal training session.

I’m worried I’ll hold people back within the session!

Don’t worry our exercises and rest periods are time based so everyone moves together as a unit during the session. We will prescribe a set amount of reps to perform an exercise during the set time period and everyone rests for the same time also.

How do you track everyone’s weights lifted and personal bests?

In small group personal training sessions clients are responsible for tracking there own weights lifted and personal records if they wish to. We want our clients to have some level of autonomy and responsibility in their fitness journey and we want the fitness coach to do what they do best ….COACH.

A high level of coaching is unattainable whilst trying to track up to 4 peoples sessions at the same time. All clients will have access to program cards and testing cards in which they can track their weights lifted and test day records.

So who should be doing be doing one to one personal training?

If you are an absolute beginner to training, injured or have sports specific goals, you might want to consider one to one personal training. But for the rest of us – that is those of us with some gym experience who have no significant injuries – and whose goal is general fitness, we will almost certainly do better in groups.

How do I book my 30 day Kick Start trial?

Go to the “30 Day Kick Start Trial” section of the website and click ‘Arrange Trial’ or ‘Let’s Kick Start’ buttons. This will take you through to a link. Alternatively if you email to register your interest we will be in touch to talk through the details and get you scheduled in. If you would like to book a 1 hour consultation session before you decide on the trial contacts us through the contact page in the same way. You can always call us with any queries or if you wish to start a trial.

What are the membership fees after the 30 day trial?

We have a variety of on-going options; ranging between £60-390 per month, depending on long term goals, scheduling and budget for pricing information please contact us for pricing information.

What happens after my 30-day trial?

If at the end of the 30 days you decide we’re not the right place for you, no hard feelings. We accept that we can’t be all things to all people. But if you decide that you want to stay and work with us to reach your personal goals, we have a range of membership options and will be able to decide which one would suit you best.

Where is The Fitness Boxx Based?

Unit 3, Crewe Hall Enterprise Park, Weston Road, Crewe, Cheshire CW1 6UA.

Do you have parking at the gym?

Yes. We have 2 car parking spaces. One is directly outside the gym sign posted, the other parking space is the ramp up towards the gym shutters, and the other is signposted directly outside the gym. There is also a communal car park directly to the left just before entering the barriers into Crewe Hall Enterprise Park which is approximately a 3 minute walk to the gym.

Are the session times flexible?

We operate on a booking system; so you book days and times that suit you.

Q. How long do the sessions last?

All Personal Training sessions last 60 minutes. Team Training sessions last 45 minutes.

Do you need to be fit to join?

Most certainly not! We meet you where you are at, and train you in a way which suits your current fitness levels. Some of the fittest people in our gym came to us extremely unfit. We’ll assess your current level of fitness and progress you in a way which suits.

What kind of nutrition support is provided?

We understand the importance of nutrition in supporting your health & wellness goals.

That is why as a member you will receive an initial nutritional guideline plan following signing up to a membership. Following this you will receive monthly nutritional tips via email to ensure you have everything you need to stay on track with your nutrition. These emails are backed up by the most renowned nutrition coaching package in the world, Precision Nutrition.

I play a sport such as running, cycling, hockey or golf. Is The Fitness Boxx right for me?

We have seen that creating a better athlete in the gym creates a better athlete out on the road, course or field. Our coaches have experience applying the training to their own sporting endeavours with consistent results and over 8 years of experience helping amateur athletes perform better, stay away from injury and enjoy their sports more every week. You seem to use a lot of weight training, and I just want to lose weight? Is this right for me?

The correct training for weight loss, body composition change or a 5k run or any other sporting event is a blend of resistance training and conditioning or cardio based exercise. Your training is based on researched scientific principles used by the world’s top coaches. We will take your goal into consideration, look at your current abilities and then prescribe the appropriate amount of resistance and cardio-based exercise for you. Then we will deliver it in a way that is right for you. Your goals and workout experience are what are most important to us.

Can I carry sessions over?

A success principle we have noticed with our members is when they get to 80% of their planned sessions they get results. The idea off accumulating sessions or doing an extra 4 one month because they missed 2 last month doesn’t work to achieve results. Clients that get results commit to a set number of sessions each month and then turn up the majority of the time, and may miss the odd one or two. Once members know they can “accumulate” sessions it creates inconsistency. For this reason we don’t let you carry sessions over month by month.

What if I am away on holiday?

Your package is calculated based on the value of your overall experience and the results that you get over the time you spend with us, so your monthly payment stays the same. However you do have the option to freeze your membership if you are away for a prolong period of time (3 weeks or more).
