I am not the usual person who frequents a gym. I am in my 70s and significantly overweight. Triston is not the first personal trainer I have had. Previous ones have been either bullies or boring. With them I got nowhere. As a result of a spinal problem dating back to a serious car crash 30 years ago, my back and leg muscles had become very weak. When I first met Triston nearly 6 months ago I struggled to climb stairs, walk more than a few yards and get on and off the floor. This was affecting the quality of my work and personal life, especially what I could do with my 6 year old granddaughter. Triston designed me a personal training programme that took account of my weaknesses and my goals. The functional training programme stretches me but the exercises are always achievable. My programme is reviewed monthly and as a result of my twice weekly sessions with Triston I can now climb stairs like an adult, get off the floor with minimal help and have lost 15 kgs in weight.
